restore.ksh

Restores a file to a MySQL database. Because MySQL backup files are actual SQL statements, this will load any file containing properly formatted SQL, not just backup files.

Usage Statement
USAGE: restore.ksh <sqlFile> <dbName> <dbHost> <dbUser> <dbPass> [<dbPort>] where sqlFile is the file to restore dbName is the database to load dbHost is the host the database is running on dbUser is the user to login as dbPass is the password to use dbPort is the optional database port (defaults to 3306)

Sample Invokation
# ksh restore.ksh myFile.sql myDatabase localhost root myPass # ksh restore.ksh myFile.sql myDatabase localhost root myPass 3309
